Superbreak has airport extras for agents

JULY 10: SUPERBREAK has launched a dedicated agents guide, packed full of useful information and intended as a quick reference guide.

The guide pulls together the operator's airport extras products, which includes airport parking and a meet and greet service, along with 147 hotels at over 25 airports.

Information includes booking codes for listed hotels (with room-only, B&B rates and parking inclusive codes where applicable) and transfer information, whether by coach, minibus or car, time the transfers takes, whether it goes to all terminals, hours of operation, and any applicable cost.

Graham Balmforth, national sales manager at Superbreak, commented: "We already product the DL leaflets, which are designed to go into ticket

This is a quick reference guide with all the necessary prices listed plus answers to all the key questions customers tend to ask at their fingertips."

Trade only for Cosmos

JUNE 12: As part of a comprehensive brand review, Cosmos is set to become a 100 per cent trade brand along with sister companies somewhere2stay and Avro Flights, following the lead of existing trade-only brand and coach tour specialist Cosmos Tourama. The group’s holidays, hotels and flights will become available as a direct offering through three new Monarch portals.

Stuart Jackson, product and commercial director for Cosmos and managing director of somewhere2stay said: "This gives us the opportunity to maximise our strategic alliance with the trade by focusing Cosmos as a dedicated trade brand and as such it will never compete with the retailer with the same brand based on price.”

He continued, “By retaining the Cosmos brand, agents have the opportunity to dominate a fully bonded brand which for nearly 50 years has been highly respected and which would in effect allow them to ‘own’ the Cosmos customer going forward.
"Similarly, we want to give greater endorsement through the trade to our component brands of somewhere2stay and Avro, and as such we will be focusing heavily  on their growth during the coming months.”
